Currently I’m dropping some bodyweight for an upcoming competition. Dieting down doesn’t have to be all bland chicken and broccoli if you know how to manipulate your breakdown of calories in regards to protein, carbs and fats. I experimented with this pancake recipe about 2 weeks ago and have had it every day since while dropping weight. The best thing about these pancakes other than the taste is you can make various changes to the recipe to either make them more calorie dense or less. I will show you how below.

While my pancakes may not looks as nice as these, mine definitely taste better 😉

You Will Need

A blender
Non stick pan
1/2 Banana
4 Eggs
1 Scoop Protein Powder
60g (3/4 cup) Oats
40g (about a handful) Blueberries
Walden Farms Calorie Free Pancake Syrup

Step 1:
Place all ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. Protein powder flavour is up to you. I like vanilla with this recipe.

Step 2:
Pour desired pancake size into a non stick pan.

Step 3:
Wait until bubbles start making their way through the top of the pancake. Have a look underneath to see if the bottom is nicely browned then flip the best you can.

Step 4:
Cook more pancakes with the rest of your mixture. The listed ingredients makes around 3 decent sized pancakes.

Step 5:
Add the syrup! Walden farms makes multiple different calorie free sauces such as chocolate. Perfect for those dieting down.
Chocolate Jell-O is also another nice option with only 60cals a tub
