Like all DIME Performance training plans, team training plans are also based on a 4 week cycle system designed to set your team up to achieve future team goals and leave your competitors eating your dust.
As your team progresses and makes new gains in strength, speed or other athletic qualities, the team training plans will also need change to allow for continuous improvement week on week and month on month. Each 4 week cycle will be built on top of the other by our specialist coaches.
Initial athlete testing activities vary per team and driven by the athletic qualities identified as most important in the Team Discovery Meeting. We will also use this time to discuss other things that will inform the testing and training program like past performance, common injuries, style of play and future goals.
The test are usually completed during the first week of training.
Depending on the sport, number of athletes and space available, athletes may be divided into training groups based on the results of their athletic performance tests.
