An intermediate/advanced training session specifically designed to improve lower body strength and power as well as stimulating a bit of hypertrophy with some extra volume through the last two exercises. This session could be utilised by athletes in various sports that require lower body explosive efforts such as sprinting or jumping.
A1) Pogo Jumps 2×15
B1) Vertical Jump 5×3
C1) Back Squat – Work up to a heavy triple (RPE @9). Subtract 5% and complete 3×3
D1) Romanian Deadlift 4×8
E1) Dumbbell Bulgarian Split Squat 4×8
